Petition to marry 2D characters

Boy reading mangaWhen real women just are not your thing, where do you go for love? A Japanese man has taken his case to the Japanese government. He has started a petition to legalize marriage between a human and a 2D character. Taichi Takashita already has over 1,000 signatures within his first week, and is well on his way to his 1 million signature goal. Takashita writes,

I am no longer interested in three dimensions. I would even like to become resident of the two-dimensional world. However, that seems impossible with present-day technology. Therefore,
at the very least, would it be possible to legally authorize marriage
with a two-dimensional character?

Well it’s cool that he has dreams and desires. Those without them tend to be really boring people.

  2. Uhh… I hope he really isn’t serious, because he’s gonna live a really lonely life (or maybe he likes to be alone, i don’t know :I) I’m young and I like anime and manga, but I would never MARRY a fictional character. ^^’
