Death Note Movie in May +

Death Note MovieIf you are a fan of Death Note, you may be in for a treat. Viz Pictures has released that they will be airing the Death Note live action movie in 300 theaters across the USA on May 20th and 21st at 7:30pm! This is the first Death Note movie, and not the recently released L: Change the World. Viz did suggest that the 2nd movie will come to theaters here soon. This showing will also include a never before seen special showing how the Manga became a live action movie. If you want to know where it’s playing, just sign up to the Shonen Jump newsletter. No doubt when I find out, I will post it here. Source: ANN

We are a bit slow to get releases in America. You’re from Singapore right? Being so close to Japan must be partly the reason.

I’m excited! I’m a little surprised we’re getting it (although it’s only in theaters for a few days), I wonder if they think it would be worth it to show L Save the World here as well? (little bit of an L fangirl!)
