Both been round for years, and still very much loved. The games are very simple when compared to more complex Xbox360 / PS3 games, but still very appealing,to all generations. Although now I think about it, we also had this black box that we played on as well (cartridge) which had games like 'Contra' and some other penguin-eskimo game. Does it sound familiar? I think we only had really simple games- mario. Although now I think about it, we also had this black box that we played on as well (cartridge) which had games like ‘Contra’ and some other penguin-eskimo game. Does it sound familiar?

I never got it to really work. Even tried blowing the cartridges like the classic NES! Kept it just to say I own a Famicom though. I loved the first ad especially, FAMICOM! :D Haha, no offence to the American peeps who did the first American commercial but the Japanese one is far better imho! p/s: I used to own a FAMICOM back in the day. My first console. The Wii is my second.
