Asian trend towards foreign eyes +
I never really understood why some Asian females tend to do this. I’m not a big fan of plastic surgery either. Some Asian females tend to prefer the eyelids of “foreigners” with that double crease above the eye. When I first heard of them doing it, I didn’t pay much attention to it. But then JapanSugoi.com posted an article about it showing a video of how its done. Why change something that is a unique characteristic of you? I have read many times that many choose to do it to stand out from the crowd. I can accept that reasoning, but changing a physical feature of you besides hair is going a bit far to me. Jlist.com even has items related to this. They feature stickers as well as actual eyelid glue. Its ultimatly up to the individual on what he or she does to make them feel better about themselves. I guess here in the USA, that “trend” is Breast Enlargement.

actually before I watch the video I didn’t understand but after watching it I realised that it makes her eyes look bigger, this is a desired trait in many if not all areas of the world

I’ve heard about Japanese even getting plastic surgery done to make their eyes look bigger. So weird. One of those national ‘things’ I guess. Because really, those eyes look fine to me :)

Asian women are very attractive for a number of reasons. The eyes are one part not to mention the hair and the skin.

This is so depressing. That girl was gorgeous before hand. She certainly did not have to change.

There’s even surgery for double eyelids. -wry- Not all Asians have single eyelids, though.
And zomg, I had an old bottle of glue and those eye poke things…and I didn’t know I was doing it wrong! No wonder it didn’t work. -mutters-
