The anime lab’s translator is useless. I found a site that matched a book I found once and I typed what the book said meant Pain and Love into the Translator and it said

Lou, it’s easy to know Romaji. It’s bad to use it in place of hiragana, katakana, and of course, kanji if you’re learning new vocabulary; you tend to remember it in romaji and that makes it more difficult to recall the readings/meanings of words when you come across them in kana or kanji.

This is my favorite machine translation site. It has 9 translators all on the same page, so at least one of them usually comes up with something legible.
