Police confiscate 300 pieces of underwear +
A man in Kagoshima prefecture has been arrested after he had stolen more than 300 pieces of women’s undergarments Asahi reports. The man had been stealing them over the course of 3 to 4 years.
Police searched the house and found the undergarments along with about 5 million yen in other items. He was originally being arrested upon suspicion of breaking into another house on July 27th.
While something like this isn’t new in Japan, I have to wonder… Why does the police feel it is necessary to lay out all the confiscated pieces like that? Putting them on display like that is almost as bad as being the guy who stole them.
