This is a nicer way of saying they want someone Japanese. I don’t get why you’re all getting your panties in a bunch about it. This is the way casting works. Hollywood, or in this case MTV, have always casted people based on race, age, gender, appearance. I don’t see why you’re all so offended that htey want someone japanese.. this is Japan after all.

You know, I almost sent her and email too. It did bother me when I read that too Mario. I really do hate being pessimistic, but sometimes the real world doesn’t work the way it should. I agree with you.

I guess I should go ahead and submit it anyway just because. Maybe after the pilot is a success, and they need some more people for support roles, I would have a chance! LOL.

Eh, not that I’m anywhere near close to fitting the description but did it really have to be some one who looks “japanese?”

I wonder why this is bothering me. Maybe its because whoever is going to be hired will probably less knowledgeable about this culture than some of us non asian guys.
