Fluorescent bulbs contain mercury, which can cause brain damage and damage to other internal organs and can be absorbed through the skin. Then there’s the damage the glass fragments can do to the eyes or lungs - the thin glass of a fluorescent bulb can make fragments small enough to be easily inhaled. In short, this guy is out of his friggin’ mind - perhaps due to mercury poisoning.
