The last of the Death Note series, L Change the World, will be in American theaters April 29th and 30th at 7:30. In a move that I have to respect, Viz pictures will be airing the subtitled version on the 29th, and the dubbed version on the 30th. I suspect, unlike the last 2 Death Note movie screenings, that the 30th will be the packed one as it seems people don’t like to read while enjoying movies. Hopefully there will be less screaming everytime L gets screentime on the 29th.
As always, after the movie is finished, there will be exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes footage. How will L spend his last 23 days? You will have to watch L Change the World to find out.

Saw this on local tv back when I was in Tokyo; was definitely a fun ride, and I would love to see it on the big screen >=D
Saw this a few weeks ago, didn’t like it all that much. Had trouble staying awake actually :P
I tried my hardest to not watch any of the Death Note live action movies once I heard Viz was bringing them all to theaters here in America. I love what they were doing, and wanted to support them. So I will be there with popcorn in hand to watch it.
i didn’t know they dubbed non-anime films in the US. wish i lived there so i could see the characters speak with english voiceovers (though i bet i’d hate it… ^^)
I’m so exited that t’ll finally be realesed in america! i’ve waited quite a while sence Death Note The Last Name came out to see Ryuzaki’s last days alive. ^^
It’s wonderful they are releasing it for US. I wish there are more of L.
I watched the first two for a class I took. Interesting concept, but I thought the second one had too many things that didn’t match up. The 3rd one has been out here in Japan for a while, but I still haven’t picked it up.
I love Deathnote.. L is rather cool too :D
I watched it befor but i want to watch it again in theaters! I bet many people(like me) is going to scream when they see L!!!
My sister was the one who introduced death note to me. Funny when you said that you hope there will be less screaming when L gets screening time. =)
The manga was very good and I liked the anime as well, but something was just off about this.
So, Andrea subliminally tricked me into purchasing Left 4 Dead on Steam, and I have been enjoying playing it for the past few days now. Funnily enough, I have to play Louis everytime I play online because well… my real name is Louis and I’m African-American.
