crossing the lines

i feel weird writting this, but i think i have to admit that nsync has stepped outta the catagory as fad. i’m not a fan of this group, and like many people, i considered them just a fabrication of the pop generation. today, as i was watching 106 and park, their remix of girlfriend took the number 10 spot. now, if you remember, the original version of girlfriend also did well on the countdown, if i’m not mistaken, it was in at least the top 3 at one point. they have crossed the music barrier, and gained fans that usually wouldn’t listen to them. by that fact alone, i have to say they may be around longer than the rest of the pop generation. they have proven they have more than just their usual teen-girl followers. damn, i never thought i would say that. oh well, stranger things have happened.
