A few days ago, troglodyespacebi sent me a page through Stumbleupon that I found a bit odd that it existed. If you are not familar with Nico Nico Douga, its a Japanese online video website similar Youtube. If you do have an account there, you will know that the website is filled with little animations that are actually quite cool.
Well an internal page at Nico Nico Douga has been found, and is spreading like a wildfire in the non Japanese community. The page features over 600 animated gifs from Nico Nico Douga. When I first saw the page, I instantly saved all of the gifs because I didn’t think that page would be around for much longer, but it looks as if it was done on purpose. Could this be just the first step in spreading some buzz about Nico Nico Douga to the non Japanese community? Could we see an English version of the popular video site coming soon? Time will tell.
