Amphibious Robot Snake

Amphibious Robot Snake

This awesome robot is known as ACM-R5, an amphibious robot snake. It was developed by at the Hirose Fukushima Lab in Japan.

Each section of the ACM-R5 has its own CPU, power supply, motor, and paddles that allow it to swim effortlessly through the water and on land. Scientist can also add and subtract sections to make the robotic monster as long or as short as they need.

It’s always cool when robots mimic real life animals. To me, snakes are one of the most interesting moving animals in the world.
