well someone just sent me an email pointing out that the *newsflash* script that ive been using since last december on an off has become inappropriate with the recent turn of events in the washington dc / virginia area. for the regulars here they know it was a joke. that script just finds out where your isp is registered in, and automatically puts your city into the newsflash, thus making you think the newsflash pertains to your city. seems someone who visited my site for the first time (and lived in the dc area) didn’t find that funny. sorry about that, but it wasn’t my intention to joke about the sick sniper running loose there. so for that reason, i have taken it down. thanks for pointing it out.
