We all know that the overseas anime and gaming markets are growing at a ridiculous pace. Anime companies in Japan, in particular, simply cannot keep up with the demand in non-Japanese speaking regions. Bandai Namco must have realized this, and have taken the first steps to help their overseas distribution.
Bandai Namco announced on Monday that they have invested in Fujiyama, a company that specializes in multilingual subtitles. They hope to start building their overseas delivery infrastructure so that it can stay ahead of the competition for delivering English as well as other translated work.
You can only expect the other big name companies to follow suit. The sooner the better, because America needs more anime and games!
